The Students of St.Mary’s cherish the gift of helping the poor. They come forward to help the poor and the needy. The parents of the children too support the genuine cause. Our Philanthropic gestures are benefitted in the past by
- ● Indian Associates for the Blind, Sundarajan patty, Madurai. They felicitate the school/students with Bronze & Silver zone trophy every year.
- ● Abhaya Kshethram, an orphanage-cum -old age cum-Disabled centre, situated at Renugunta.
- ● St.Joseph’s Hospice, Paleswaram, Kanchipuram.
- ● Old Age Home, Karvetnagar.
- ● Brigitta Illam, Puthu Keechalam, run by DMI Sisters.
- ● Orphanage at Mel Nedungal, run by SDM Fathers& Brothers.
- ● Two Houses were repaired in C.R.Pattadai, Pallipat.
- ● Two Restrooms were constructed at a cost of Rs.35000 each in Pallipat and Eachambadi.
- ● Old man’s ration, widow’s ration etc are schemes lanced by House teachers and students.
- ● Ms.Sonam Mukerji, an Acid bulb victim of the North India was helped with Rs.15000/- in cash.
- ● Food parcels are distributed at the school entrance as need arises.
